When he brought up the role and the photos in the interview, Hathaway could be seen rolling her eyes, anticipating the next question. Van Vliet did not hesitate and asked,“How do you fit into that suit?”(via Chris Van Vliet | YouTube). Hathawaypolitely avoided the body-shaming tonein the question and responded:
It takes three of us and a lot of lead time. Sit-ups, tricep curls and, you know, bench kicks – I don’t know.
It wasn’t the answer Van Vliet was looking for and he decided to hit the bone with his next follow-up question,“But you’re in phenomenal shape right now. How much weight have you lost to get into this shape right now?”. Hathaway did not hide how she was offended by the question. Keeping her smile,The Internactress snapped back:

Van Vliet tried to backtrack his comments and apologize to the actress. He shared,“I’m sorry.
