According to Sura, an X insider at 343 Industries, the team behind the game has just registered a new unknown ID. This could mean that they are working on a new game in the franchise.

The timing is a little suspicious; Microsoft has just announced that it will open mobile stores, so there are also speculations about a possible mobile game from this very popular IP.
Mobile Games Are Probably Not What Xbox Fans Want
The last few games in one of the most popular video game franchises have failed to meet Xbox’s expectations.Halohas become a game that not every fan of the console is excited to play; this is mainly because of the quality of the games. Since the release ofInfinite, there has been no other mention of any game in the franchise. Since almost three years have passed, it is not a bad time to announce a new project from the popular franchise, especially in the multiplayer aspect. I’m a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
