Things are starting to heat up in the Witcher world. Not only are fans getting an augmented-reality exploration game that challenges them to become an elite monster hunter in theWitcher: Monster Slayermobile game, we also have the impending WitcherCon to look forward to that will be a must-see for all Yennefer and Geralt enthusiasts.
What is WitcherCon?
WitcherCon is a digital celebration that will take a deep dive inside the inner workings of what makes the game, as well as the hit Netflix show, tick. If you would love to know more about the lore ofThe Witcherand the folks behind the development, you won’t want to miss the interactive panels where Anya Cahlotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri) as well as showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will be answering questions.
The event will be split across two streams with lots to entertainWitcherloyalists that include quizzes, epic reveals and season two surprises. We have our fingers crossed for a release date and a more gritter trailer for Netflix’sThe Witcher!

What is theWitcherCon Start Time?
WitcherCon will begin this Friday, July 9, with the first stream starting at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm BST. For the second stream, verify you are around on Saturday, July 10 at 5 pm PT/ 9 PM ET and a very early 2 am BST if youâre in the UK but at least you’ll have the Sunday to rest.

Everything we know so far about WitcherCon
DuringNetflixâs Geeked Weeklast month, we got a little taste of a trailer starring Freya Allanâs exiled princess Ciri. Now granted the clip was only a few seconds long, but there wasa ton to dissectthat included Ciri training at Kaer Morhen and many other hidden meanings. Throughout WitcherCon, we should get a more in-depth trailer or, at the very least, a step by step guide into what exactly Ciri was doing along with what the Elder runes mean.
On July 9, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and cast members Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Mimî M. Khayisa, and Paul Bullion will take turns in drawing cards from a deck of fan questions which will allow viewers to get an insight into their journey throughThe Witcher Season 2. Anya and Freya will also be taking a look back at the evolution of their characters from Season 1 to Season 2, and describing the changes that occurred which got them to where they are now.
If a round ofGwentis your thing, there will be a showcase of the popular card game as well as bringing the stories ofThe Witcherto life through video games, a look atThe Witcher: Monster Slayer, the creation ofThe Witcherfigures and a conversation with Henry Cavill aboutThe WitcherUniverse that will apparently include a few little surprises.
If you’re around for the second stream on July 10, you can look forward to much of the same but with the added extra dive into the creation of the upcoming Netflix anime film,The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolfand the lore behind Kaer Morhen which should be captivating viewing for any fan.
