If the reports are to be believed, Xbox is about to seriously shake up the gaming landscape as it seeks to bring its biggest exclusive titles to the PS5. This could have huge ramifications for the industry, andwe’ve already explored what we think the Green Team’s endgame iswith this as-yet-unconfirmed-but-highly-probable move, which Microsoft is expected to announce next week.

So, in anticipation of the maybe-announcement, we’ve asked around at DualShockers to find out which currently Xbox-owned games we’d most like to see on the PS5.

There are many incredible RPGs available on the Xbox Series X/S, but these are the best RPGs the console has to offer.

Dishonored 3

Robert Zak - Features Lead

I know that I go on about the yet-to-be announcedDishonored3every opportunity I get, but I can’t help but feel it’s inevitable that we’ll be getting this from Arkane once they’ve got Marvel’s Blade out of the way. Blade could be great also, and I totally see it integrating some Dishonored-style slashing and stealthing in there, but the fact remains that no Arkane game since the last Dishonored back in 2016 quite lived up to the first-person-stealthers set in one of the most interesting worlds in gaming.

Being a PC owner, whether or not it comes to PS5 won’t affect my ability to play it, but in a series and genre that’s historically struggled sales-wise despite all the critical acclaim in the world, I believe that it’s the kind of game that needs the absolute maximum exposure it can get if it’s to justify its existence. Dishonored will never be a ‘console-pusher’ type game, despite some people who are into it beingreallyinto it, and a simultaneous PS5 and Xbox release would give it the best chance of success, which in turn will further incentivise Microsoft to keep funding immersive sims and experimental games of its ilk.

Who knows? Maybe a successful Dishonored 3 will compel Microsoft to swoop in and saveDeus Exfrom stagnating under the disastrous ownership of the Embracer Group too, triggering an im-sim renaissance that us long-suffering fans are desperate for.

Best Xbox Series XS Multiplayer Games

Sea Of Thieves

Kyle Knight - News Editor

Although I do most of my gaming on my PlayStation 5, I also own a PC, which means I’m fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds. But you know what I’m not fortunate enough to have? Friends that also game on PC.

Sea of Thieveshas long been on my list of must-play games (heck, I’ve already got it ready to go in my Steam library), but I just can’t help but feel like this is the kind of game that’s best played with friends. Not only does Sea of Thieves just generally look to be more fun with others, I’ve heard it’s pretty damn hard if you go in alone.

Elder Scrolls 6

DualShockers Definitives: 10 Best Xbox Series X/S Multiplayer Games

Let’s work it together!

I can handle games like Forza and Starfield never coming to PlayStation, but for multiplayer titles like Sea of Thieves, I’d just love to be able to jump in with my usual PlayStation crew.

The Elder Scrolls 6

Emma Ward - Evergreen Editor

With the slew of studios Microsoft has acquired over the past few years, by far the one that was the biggest loss for me as an avid PlayStation gamer was Bethesda. I have been a fan of theElder Scrollsgames sinceMorrowind, and I even bought my PS3 back in the day just to binge its sequel,Oblivion.

So, with the shadow of their next colossus -Elder Scrolls 6- looming in the distance, I would kill for the chance to play it on my preferred platform whenever it eventually releases. ES6 is sure to be a mega-hit like all Elder Scrolls games, and deserves to share a space with the rest of my gaming collection on my PS5.

Every Elder Scrolls Game Ever Released, Ranked

From Arena to Online, these are the strongest entries in the beloved Elder Scrolls series.

Hopefully, with the recent buzz of Xbox going third-party, this dream will become a reality by the time ES6 debuts.

Gears of War

Jack Coleman - News Lead

I haven’t owned a home console since the Xbox One, so my opinion isn’t going to be quite as valuable as that of a PlayStation 5 owner. However, I am enthused by the idea that consumers can purchase a single system and have access to the majority of games. I’ve been sizing up a PlayStation 5, partially for console exclusives but also for convenient couch multiplayer.

Gears of Warwas one of the series my brother and I religiously played on the Xbox 360 and then Xbox One, I’d love to have them all available on the PlayStation 5, maybe with a new coat of paint? I feel the same way aboutHalobut with the existence of the fantastic Master Chief Collection, the need is less pressing. As Gears is one of the IPs rumoured to be coming to PS5, I may be in luck.
