One of the major concerns that many fans had with Hugh Jackman’s return inDeadpool & Wolverinewas how it deals withLogan‘s ending. Not only the James Mangold-led film was deemed one of the best superhero flicks of all time, but it also served as a tearful conclusion to Wolverine’s journey and gave Logan the ending he deserved.

But while the grounded tone of the rated-R flick complimented Wolverine’s nature, especially the action sequences, the ADR recording session for one of its most iconic scenes is unintentionally hilarious.
Fans Can’t Get Over Hugh Jackman’s Gesture in Logan’s ADR Recording Session
After struggling throughout the film following his adamantium poisoning, the climax ofLoganfinally sees the character going full berserker. Prior to dying in the hands of his adult clone, he proceeds to slaughter everyone to ensure the survival of the mutant-kind and his adoptive daughter in one of the best scenes from the entire Fox universe. But while the scene really encapsulates the rage of Logan in action, fans found the ADR recording session for the sequence unintentionally hilarious.

For the unversed, ADR, or automated dialogue replacement, is a standard part of the post-production process, which sees actor dubbing their dialogues over scenes to improve the audio. In one of the recording sessions, shared by Jackmanfor the climax fight ofLogan, theDeadpool 3star can be seen grunting and shouting as he fully encapsulates the character’s berserker rage.
However, in contrast to the scene in action, fans can’t help but joke aboutHugh Jackman‘s gestures in the ADR session.

Dafne Keen Recalled Being Asked To Return for Deadpool & Wolverine
WhileDeadpool & Wolverinerightfully leftLogan‘s ending untouched, they did bring back the emotional focus of the film,Dafne Keen‘s X-23. Even though it might be a different variant of Wolverine from a different universe, the connection between the two still transcended dimensions.
Reflecting on being cast in theDeadpoolthreequel, she toldTHR:
Shawn [Levy] told me this lovely story about him reading this scene where Deadpool was telling Wolverine about X–23, and thinking, ‘Maybe we should just have X-23,’ She’s a big emotional motor for Wolverine, and Wolverine is her entire emotional motor.
