Actress Rosario Dawson took on the role of fan-favorite Ahsoka Tano for the character’s live-action appearances. The Jedi Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, first introduced in theClone Warsanimated series, received her solo series with 2023’sAhsoka.The series reunited the character with her former master, played by Hayden Christensen.

Despite Christensen’s reputation of being intense and dedicated to his lightsaber duels, Dawson revealed that another actor in the franchise was equally if not more heavy-handed with a lightsaber. Following the first season’s conclusion, Dawson and Christensen sat down for a detailed breakdown of the series’ biggest moments withEntertainment Weekly. During the interview, Dawson was asked about working with Christensen, since the latter has a reputation for being intense in lightsaber duel scenes.

Dawson made the above statement about Christensen and co-starRay Stevenson, who played Baylan Skoll, a former Jedi turned mercenary, in the series. Dawson’s comments suggest that both her co-stars put quite a lot of effort and hard work into making their lightsaber battles appear realistic.

Furthermore, Christensen joked that Dawson also took some hard swings at him during the filming of their lightsaber scenes. Dawson admitted that she wanted to explore more ways for the two characters to interact in the future.

Dawson made the above statement, expressing an interest in seeing Anakin return as a Force Ghost to guide Ahsoka in future seasons. Meanwhile, Stevenson’s Baylan Skoll is also likely to feature in season 2, but it remains unclear if the role will be recast after the actor’s untimely passing in 2023.
