The film, based on William S. Burroughs’ 1985 short novel, is set to be released in theaters in October. The film will also star Drew Starkey, Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzman, and Henry Zaga.

Guadagnino and Craig shared that A24 was the perfect collaborator for the film. Fans believe that the film will not pull any punches on any of its intense or disturbing scenes with a daring studio by its side. The film gets its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.

The film was screened for distributors through CAA Media Finance in June and grabbed the interest of multiple companies (via Deadline). In a joint statement, Craig and Guadagnino shared their excitement in collaborating with a“daring, vital, and trail-blazing”studio as A24.
