Vince McMahon served as the Chairman of WWE for several decades, maintaining a firm grip on the company. There is also speculation that his resignation was largely due to Slim Jim.

The former Executive Chairman of WWE no longer holds control over the company after the merger of WWE and UFC into the TKO Holdings Group. Despite stepping down, he continues to make headlines, often for controversial reasons.

Slim Jim’s Role In Vince McMahon’s Resignation
WWE initially revealed its collaboration with Slim Jim in August 2023, officially launching the partnership at the Summerslam event. However, in light of Vince McMahon’s allegations, Slim Jim previously decided to pause their relationship with WWE for the foreseeable future.
Therefore, it is very evident that Slim Jim might have played a role in Vince McMahon’s resignation, as WWE and TKO clearly wanted to keep working with Slim Jim for future Premium Live Events.

Vince McMahon’s Statement After TKO Resignation
Deadlinereported that Vince McMahon commented on his sudden resignation from TKO Group Holdings, citing a detailed se*ual assault lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant earlier this week as the reason.
“I stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant’s lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations and look forward to clearing my name.”

He then explained the reason behind the resignation:
“However, out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners, and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effective immediately.”
Vince McMahon’s representative assured theoutletthat the WWE founder will vigorously defend himself in court. Janel Grant’s lawsuit is seeking monetary damages and the nullification of the nondisclosure agreement she was compelled to sign during her time with WWE.
