Before one of the most recent updates toWarzone, the weapon meta was the AUG Tactical Rifle fromCold War, the MAC-10 submachine gun fromCold War, the FFAR Assault Rifle fromCold War, and the Kar98k fromModern Warfare.
These are still perfectly acceptable guns to use in bothWarzoneandCold War, but the AUG and FFAR did receive rather substantially nerfs before Season 3 kicked off.
The recently added Sykov pistol also became a brief meta, but Raven Software were quick to nerf the newly added weapon fromModern Warfare.
WarzoneSeason 3 Meta Weapon
Below you will find my personal choice of weapons for the new season ofWarzone. The PPSH is a solid new SMG to use inWarzone, while the Swiss K31 is reminiscent of the Kar 98k.
It’s also worth noting that the AK-47 did in fact receive a buff for Season 3, and is now a great gun to use inWarzone. Check out the full attachment list below.

Season 3 of bothCold WarandWarzoneis now live in game! The new Season kicked off on April 22 with a whole plethora of content.
Warzoneplayers were treated to the Destruction of Verdansk Event which saw the map become over run with Zombies, ultimately ending in its demise. However, the event did finish with players being transported back to 1984 and dropping into a brand new Verdansk for the first time.
WhilstCold Warplayers were given new Multiplayer Maps,New Weapons,New Operators, and so much more!
