Warzone 2’s DMZ features multiple Faction Missions, each of which offers unique rewards to players who complete them. While most of these missions will have players complete contracts or use certain weapons, some will task players with finding peculiar items withinModern Warfare 2’s sandbox experience. Such is the case with theGood Fortune Legion Mission, which requires you to find aGolden .50 GS.

Good Fortune is a returning Faction Mission for Warzone 2 Season 2, and is a Tier 3 Mission for the Legion Faction. This mission tasks players withunlocking Room 302 at the top of the Sawah Hoteland thenlooting and extracting the Golden .50 GSinside. Doing so will reward you with a contraband Signal 50, along with 10,000 XP.
Updated by Nathan Round 28th March 2023:The skylights on the roof of the Sawah Hotel have been boarded up for Season 2, thus preventing players from entering Room 302 without a key. We have updated this guide with new information regarding how to complete the Good Fortune mission for Warzone 2 DMZ.
Unlocking Room 302
To fulfill the first part of the Good Fortune mission, you will need tounlock Room 302 on the top floor of the Sawah Hotel. TheSawah Hotelis located at Sawah Villageand can be identified by its unique blue trims. Upon heading to the top floor of this hotel, you will encounter two locked doors: one labeledRoom 302and the other Room 303. In order to gain entry into Room 302,you will need the Room 302 Key.
A good way to farm keys is to complete an Eliminate HVT contract, as HVTs will always drop a random key once they are killed. Keys can also be found within supply caches containers - notably containers such as lockers, duffel bags, and Legendary Supply Crates. Just note that, while the aforementioned methods can increase your chances of finding the Room 302 Key, there is no guaranteed drop for it - making it one of the rarest keys to come across. Once you have the key, simply unlock Room 302 to complete the first part of this mission.
Looting & Extracting The Golden .50 GS
Once you have gained entry to Room 302, you will then need toloot the Golden .50 GS inside. This part of the mission is fairly simple, as you can find theGolden .50 GS lying beside a duffel bag. Simply pick it up, head to the nearest exfil point, andsuccessfully extract with the golden .50 GSin your inventory. Alternatively, you could complete a Rescue Hostage contract for a more stealthy exfil. If you are part of a squad and one of you exfil with the golden .50 GS, the progress will still count for every member who has the Good Fortune mission active.
