The Dark Knightis one of those films that does not just stand out in the genre that it exists in but also stands out among films in general. So it is no wonder that the film has inspired countless actors to take a shot in the industry. Timothée Chalamet is one such actor, whose love for acting came from Christopher Nolan’sThe Dark Knight.

He’s got the look to be Dick’s Robin and then Nightwing.. hopefully they don’t fuck it up but it doesn’t look like there will be a chance to do it sense Gunn is doing Batman with Damien already so he’d have to come in as Nightwing ig which kinda sucks but he’d still nail it.

Chalamet definitely has the look for a younger superhero character, one that could serve as the leader of the younger generation of heroes. Nightwing would require Chalamet to put on a significant amount of muscle mass, but would work perfectly for the actor, given his acting chops.

The actor could also easily lay any of the adjacent Robins, especially Jason Todd. Chalamet’s acting chops also make it possible for the actor to pick up other roles in the DC universe, some that could focus away from the Batman mythos. Apart from playing Nightwing and Red Hood, Chalamet could also play Superboy, Aqualad, or even Captain Marvel Jr.

Timothée Chalamet would love to do a film despite Leonardo DiCaprio’s advice

Leonardo DiCaprio, arguably one of the biggest stars in the industry, allegedly advisedTimothee Chalametto never do a superhero film. However, the actor has revealed that he would be open to doing a superhero film if the script was something he enjoyed. The actor, upon being asked about the state of superhero films by theNew York Times, replied:

“Well, Leonardo DiCaprio said to me, “No superhero movies, no hard drugs.” Which I thought was very good.”

Upon being probed a little further with the question, the actor also revealed:

“I follow them both! But the movie that made me want to act is a superhero movie, “The Dark Knight.” If the script was great, if the director was great, I’d have to consider it.”

The actor has revealed that he very much enjoyed working with Denis Villeneuve, and was awed by the lack of pomp on set. The actor said that he would specifically require a good script and a good director for his superhero film before he would sign on, which makes sense, given that his chief inspiration for acting comes fromThe Dark Knight, which was directed by Christopher Nolan.
