Kojima continues to tease the release ofDeath Stranding 2 On the Beach. The popular Japanese director is fascinated by George Miller’s new movie,Furiosa. According to reports, Miller will be part of the cast of Kojima’s new game.
A poster published by the game director himself left many fans thinking that Miller’s design for this highly anticipated title looks exactly like Elton John, better known as Rocket Man, the popular British musician. This will not be the only big name to be part of the upcoming Kojima project.

The popular director ofMetal Gear Solidis well-known for being an avid cinema enthusiast. Hideo Kojima constantly posts on social media about the movies he watches, and his games have many references to popular Hollywood films. Kojima used his popularity to include several well-known actors in his first game outside Konami. The Japanese director has worked with actors like Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and many more.

InDeath Stranding 2 On the Beach, Kojima is upping the stakesand will feature many more familiar faces than in his previous title. One of them will be George Miller, the popular director ofMad Max: Fury RoadandFuriosa.

Kojima shared a poster on his social media platform, showcasing Miller’s game design, prompting fans to draw parallels between him and the well-known British singer Elton John.

Many users on X joked that Elton John, also known by his popular nickname Rocket Man, looks very similar to the design of George Miller in this highly anticipated game. At the moment, little is known about the new characters that this title will include.

Kojima also made it very clear on his social media that he loved Miller’s latest film,Furiosa, and saw it more than four times in the cinema. Unfortunately, it seems this film did not achieve box-office success. Nevertheless, this is not the first film in the saga to fail at the box office; in the end, all these movies achieve cult status. Miller is also part of the documentary about Hideo Kojima that can be seen on Disney Plus.
Death Stranding 2 On the Beachis scheduled for release sometime in 2025 for PS5. The game has shown a couple of cinematics and gameplay, but at the moment, little is known about its new plot. Other than that, our protagonist will once again have to attempt to connect in a world full of despair.
