As one of the most original directors in the Japanese video game industry, Suda51 has consistently surprised players with peculiar titles that feature more than a few bizarre details. His development studio, Grasshopper Manufacture Inc., is about to release another remaster this October.
The game in question isShadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, in which players control Garcia Hotspur, who will travel deep into hell to rescue his beloved Paula, who was recently kidnapped. This game boasts the most unique weaponry available.

With titles likeNo More HeroesandLollipop Chainsaw, among others, this director’s studio boasts a stellar pedigree. Now, more than 13 years after its initial release, the remastered version ofShadows of the Damnedwill launch in October, and fans are beyond excited.

Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. is developing this game, and according to Suda’s own words, they are already working on various unrevealed new titles. Regarding this remaster, it will include everything from the original title, along with some additional content.

This third-person action title will offer a wide variety of bizarre weapons, all linked to the powers of hell. The goal is for Garcia to rescue his girlfriend, using any means necessary to destroy and eliminate the forces of hell.

Similar to Kojima, Suda51 holds a deep admiration for Western culture, particularly that of the United States, which is evident in his diverse projects.
On October 31st,Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remasteredwill be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. confirmed that this remaster will feature never-before-seen exclusive content, such as new outfits for the main character.
Furthermore, a New Game Plus mode will be added, allowing players to start a new game after completing it for the first time.
