The two-part finale ofTwo and a Half Menbrought back some of its old glory. One of the biggest surprises in the episodes was the cameo of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who played a police lieutenant. Schwarzenegger is not exactly famous for his humor, but he killed it in the combination scenes with Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer.

The series adopted a meta-humor style in the scenes involving Schwarzenegger, as they recap the entire series and make fun of some of its story elements. Fans, who have been generally dismissive of the series after Charlie Sheen’s exit, loved the cameo. They shared that the Austrian Oak managed to outshine Kutcher in the role.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s hilarious cameo was better than Ashton Kutcher’s role inTwo and a Half Men
WhenAshton Kutcher‘s Walden Schmidt andJon Cryer‘s Alan Harper find out that Charlie Harper might still be alive, they go to a police station. Charlie has sent threatening packages to Alan and their mother Evelyn, which prompts them to file a complaint with Lt. Wagner. Fans were surprised to see that Wagner was played by none other than the legendaryArnold Schwarzenegger.

In a few minutes, Schwarzenegger’s character tries to piece together the situation the two men are in. For fans, it was a scene filled with meta humor, as Schwarzenegger was actually recapping the hilarious plot ofTwo and a Half Men. ThePredatoractor asks all the right questions that take a jab at the hilarious situations in the show.
He also takes a swing at the real-life behind-the-scenes issues that led to even more confusing plots in the show. Lt. Wagner pointed out that Charlie let Alan stay at the beachside house for eight and a half years, even though Alan claimed that his brother never liked him. Cryer’s response, that it wasn’t the first time it was pointed out to him, had both in-show and real-life implications.

When Schwarzenegger asked about Charlie’s mysterious death, Cryer shared that it wasn’t that mysterious given that“he was taking a lot of drugs and pissed off almost everybody.”Cryer was clearly alluding to Charlie Sheen’s troublesand his ugly exit from the show.
They also take a dig atCharlie Sheen‘s showAngry Management, as Schwarzenegger asks,“Has he tried anger management?”, to which Cryer responds,“Yes but it didn’t work.”Schwarzenegger also went on to break down the logic behind several story elements after Sheen’s exit. Fans overall loved the meta aspect and shared that Schwarzenegger nailed the role. Some of the fan reactions read:

This single scene was better than the last 4 seasons
Arnold recapping Two and a Half Men is just perfection

This whole scene was breaking the fourth wall in every dialogue
Arnold’s comedic genius is way underrated

Arnold sold this scene perfectly. Absolute legend.
The meta humor of this scene was just too genius and adding that with Arnold in the mix is perfection.
The finale received a positive response for Schwarzenegger’s cameo, even though fans were disappointed not to see Sheen make an appearance. Fans considered theKindergarten Copactorfunnier than Kutcher, even suggesting that his appearance was the best thing to happen to the show ever since Sheen left.
