Recently, a source close to the making ofX-Men ’97revealed the truth behindBeau DeMayo’sfiring toThe Hollywood Reporter,and it does not look good for the writer. It would seem that he was fired from his position due to s*xual misconduct towards other male employees working on the project. Amid all this controversy, fans have taken over the internet to shame the writer after deceiving his audience.
A fan posteda clip of Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key’s series,Key and Peele,and it seems to be quite fitting to the entire situation. With a caption of“Behind the scenes at Marvel Studios Animation X-Men 97 office,”it was a sketch depicting workplace s*xual misconduct by one male employee towards another.

Considering how the entire situation shown in theKey and Peelesketch seems to perfectly match what allegedly happened at Marvel Studios, fans cannot help but make jokes atBeau DeMayo’sexpense.
