According to an anime enthusiast (@tamirsverse), they shared a YouTube Short on their channel, explaining the manga artist has rarely showcased Luffy crashing out. However, they believe that if it happened in the present storyline, it would be“devastating not only for his enemies but also for himself and everyone of his allies.”
The influencer explained that his next crash out would be different from the one viewers witnessed during the Marineford Saga when he saw Akainu punching a hole in Ace’s chest. This breakthrough was different from the ones shown via Gon fromHunter x Hunteror Itadori Yuji fromJJK,where they go into a fit of rage and“lose control and decimate everything and everyone.”
However, in Marineford, the Emperor of the Sea only felt“utter despair,”leading to a meltdown. The situation will be different in the current saga because after he awakened his Devil Fruit with Gear 5, he is acting somewhat changed.
