And now, they seem to have apparently made their way back to the MCU once again to direct theupcoming twoAvengersmovies, which are said to be the conclusion to Marvel’s multiverse saga (viaThe Hollywood Reporter). Despite the names of directors like Shawn Levy, Sam Rimi floating around, it is but a shock that Marvel Studios would run back to the duo to direct the films. And as per industry insiders, it is because no other director were ‘sane enough’ to direct the two films.
Jeff Sneider, while onThe Hot Mic, revealed,
They can’t get anybody, that’s what I heard. So, in the end, they ended up going back to them.
Despite earlier reports suggesting that the Russo Brothers were eliminated as a possibility to direct the two films, Sneider stated that the duo was actually excited to come on board again. While more details are yet to be revealed, fans seem excited to have the duo back in the Marvel verse.
