If you have been keeping yourWitcherear to the ground, you will have probably seen Geralt of Rivia’s swanky new armor that he gets to don for Netflix’sThe WitcherSeason 2.In the imagesshown at the start of the month, we saw The White Wolf in his brand new threads of black attire adorned with a leather breastplate and leather straps. Of course, that wasn’t all the images we got to see and as a follow-up,some shotsof Yennefer appeared in chains and another of Ciri wielding a sword. AsThe Witcher Season2 is still underway, a few snaps of familiar faces from Season one have been caught as they roam the set of the medieval ruins ofFountains Abbeyin Yorkshire, England.
As seen inRedanian Intelligence, Sorceress Tissaia de Vries played by MyAnna Buring, Stregobor by actor Lars Mikkelsen, Therica Wilson-Read, Sorceress Sabrina, and Vilgefortz, mage and member of the Chapter of Sorcerers played by Mahesh Jadu have been spotted walking alongside Anya Chalotra who plays Yennefer between takes. An unfamiliar and yet unidentified face also has been seen with Therica Wilson-Read which could hint at a brand new mage joining the team. What is interesting though is that we also notice a bushy-bearded Cahir (Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach) played by Eamon Farren who looks to be bare-chested under his shirt which could mean that he may have become imprisoned in the aftermath of the Battle of Sodden. This is in stark contrast to arecent pictureof him in a new black and golden Nilfgaardian armor.

The picture of the mages regrouped could very well mean that many are still going strong after the chaotic ending we saw at the end ofThe WitcherSeason one but we will just have to wait and see how this all plays out in Season Two which will hopefully be back on our screens at some point next year. For those who are looking more into the future ofThe Witcher, you’ll be glad to know thatSeason threehas already been greenlit soWitcher fanswill be delighted to have the show continue even when Season Two ends.
