2024’s award season rolls on as the finalists for The Steam Awards 2024 have been announced. Unlike what we saw from this year’sThe Game Awards, The Steam Awards focuses solely on titles available on, you guessed it: Steam.
The event is entirely user voted, so it’s up to the fans to decide which games will be victorious. Voting begins during the Steam Winter Sale, starting on Thursday, December 19th, at 1:00 PM EST. Voting will conclude on December 31st at 1:00 PM Eastern.
Leading the way areHelldivers II,Black Myth: Wukong,Balatro, andSTALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl,all with three nominations.Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, a game many people felt was amajor snub from The Game Awards, comes in with two nominations.
Voting for the finalists took place during the Steam Autumn Sale. Anyone with a non-limited Steam account is eligible to vote, and winners will receive a special Steam Awards sticker.
