Development of thePercy Jackson & the Olympiansseries began in 2020 (via Deadline Hollywood. Starring Walker Scobell as 12-year-old demigod Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, the eight-episode series premiered on Disney+ in December 2023.
During a recent interview withAccess Hollywood,The Perks of Being a Wallfloweractor revealed that he has not watched the series yet, saying:
“I haven’t seen it yet. I do want to see it though, and it looks really good.”

These reactions are a contrast to the initial reactions of fans to the series which claimed that the series had done it much better than the movies. That being said, there is always room for improvement. Hopefully, the next season of the show will do better.
