Born in 1933, the legendary music producer Quincy Jones passed away on November 03. He was at his Bel Air home in Los Angeles when he died at the age of ninety-one. Needless to say, he lived a long and fulfilling life with 28 Grammy Awards as proof of the legacy he has left behind.
Having said that, we cannot forget the time he made a pretty controversial comment about one of his ex-girlfriends. Quincy Jones once claimed to have dated the daughter of President Donald Trump – Ivanka Trump – despite their 47-year age gap. Not only that, but he later made inappropriate comments about her that had us all cringing like never before.
Quincy Jones Talked about Donald Trump
In a previous interview with New York Magazine’sVulture,Quincy Jonesclaimed that he was in a relationship withIvanka Trumpwhen she was just 24 years old.
Despite whatever he may have felt towards her, he simply couldn’t stand her father,Donald Trump. As Trump returns to the Oval Office afterdefeating Kamala Harrisfor the presidency, we recall the comments made by Jones against him.

Calling him a megalomaniac and a narcissist, Jones stated,
Trump is just telling them what they want to hear. I used to hang out with him. He’s a crazy motherf*cker. Limited mentally — a megalomaniac, narcissistic. I can’t stand him.
He then dropped the bomb adding,“I used to date Ivanka, you know,”before going on about Trump’s inadequacy as a leader.
A symphony conductor knows more about how to lead than most businesspeople — more than Trump does. He doesn’t know sht. Someone who knows about real leadership wouldn’t have as many people against him as he does. He’s a fcking idiot.
Clearly, Jones didn’t have a good relationship with Trump but when it came to his daughter, he sang a different tune. However, the age gap between them and his awkward comment about her really doesn’t sit right with us.
Quincy Jones Revealed His Relationship with Ivanka Trump
After Quincy revealed that he once dated Ivanka Trump, Vulture’s David Marchese asked,“Wait, really?”To which he replied,“Yes, sir.”Recalling their supposed relationship, he stated that it happened 12 years before the interview.
Meaning that Jones dated her when he was 72 years old and she was only 25 if his claims were true. An age gap of a whopping 47 years.

In the interview, he recalled how the two came together. He stated that his daughter, Kidada Jones was working with Tommy Hilfiger when Trump’s eldest daughter expressed interest in him.
Yes, sir. Twelve years ago. Tommy Hilfiger, who was working with my daughter Kidada, said, ‘Ivanka wants to have dinner with you.’
Here’s where things take an awkward turn. After his daughter passed on the news, Jones was more than happy to meet up with Ivanka Trump calling her a“fine motherf*cker.”He then made a very disturbing confession.
I said, ‘No problem. She’s a fine motherfucker.’ She had the most beautiful legs I ever saw in my life. Wrong father, though.
Despite what he has claimed, Ivanka Trump has never publicly admitted to dating Jones or going to dinner with him.
