The Walls of Paradis Island inAttack on Titan
The Walls were three massive buildings on Paradis Island that defended the remains of Eldia. More than a century ago, Karl Fritz, the 145th King of Eldia, constructed them out of innumerable enormous skinless Titans that were imprisoned inside the empty center of the Walls.
Ymir Fritz’s three daughters, Sina, Rose, and Maria, inspired the names for the walls. The outermost Wall in the human dominion was known as Wall Maria. Wall Rose came after Wall Maria as the second outermost Wall. The king and other commoners lived inside Wall Sina, the innermost Wall that guarded the realm.

The distance between Wall Maria and Wall Rose was estimated to be around 100 kilometers, from Wall Rose to Wall Sina about 130 kilometers, and Wall Sina’s radius about 250 kilometers. Karl Fritz warned the world that any attempt to breach the Walls would result in the release of millions of Colossal Titans, which would destroy the whole planet, in an effort to keep his people isolated and preserve a tranquil utopia for them for as long as possible.
