The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdommay be set to receive a limited editionNintendo SwitchOLED model when it launches in May. Images of a new Tears Of The Kingdom-themed Switch model have been leaked by a user onReddit, but has yet to be officially confirmed byNintendo.
The images showcase a decked-out OLED Switch model covered in the colors and symbols from the upcoming Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom. Despite seeming pretty legit, we recommend taking it with a pinch of salt for the time being. As we mentioned previously, Nintendo has yet to confirm the limited edition Switch model, and it’s entirely possible that a fan has faked the design with a bit of hard work and creativity.

Nintendo officially announced the highly anticipated Zelda game during a Direct Showcase earlier this year. Revealing the title of the next Zelda game to be ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom’, fans will be able to get their hands on the Breath Of The Wild sequel when it launches for Nintendo Switch on May 12th, 2023.
In other Zelda news, in preparation for its May release,Tears Of The Kingdom was recently rated by the ESRB, confirming that the game was now officially rated within North America. As expected, Tears Of The Kingdom received a rating of ‘Everyone 10+’, much like its predecessor, Breath Of The Wild.
Although it’s looking increasingly likely that Tears Of The Kingdom will launch on the planned release date of May 12th, the sequel has yet to officially go gold. But, to the surprise of nobody, The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom did win the ‘Most Anticipated Game’ at the 2022 Game Of The Year Awards.
The event took place on December 9th and revealed some pretty major announcements. Not only did Tears Of The Kingdom pick up the most anticipated award, but FromSoftware’sElden Ring also won the coveted game of the year award, marking the second FromSoftware title to win the award.
