Just as it was with Breath of the Wild, fighting a Lynel is no joke inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These half-man, half-horse creatures are easilyone of the most difficult enemiesthat you will face throughout your entire journey in Hyrule. You will not face many enemies thatwill hound you like the Lynels.

And as you work your way through the ranks of Lynels, you will get rewards that give your journey some meaning. And one such possible reward isthe 5-ShotLynel Bowthat will make your adventure all the easier, giving it an almost necessary feel to it.

It also lists out all the Lynel locations in the game. Further, it was updated to reference other special weapons that you can pair the bow with.
How To Get The 5-Shot Lynel Bow
you may only unlock the 5-Shot Lynel Bow by beating two types of Lynel enemies: the Silver-Maned Lynels and the White-Maned Lynels. These tough enemies can be found both across Hyrule and also underneath Hyrulein The Depths. The Lynel is an enemy that willscale with your character as you beat them.
This means that starting out, you will only be able to face the lower-level Lynels, which are denoted with a red mane. However, as you beat them and take them down, you will be able to face the higher-level version of the same exact enemy. As the Lynels grow in level, they willprove to be harderand more difficult to take down.
The silver-maned and white-maned version of this enemy is one of the harder versions that you may face. So, when you feel it’s time to take on one of these enemies, be sure you bring some powerful weapons andplenty of mealsto replenish your health. The Lynels - especially the white- and silver-maned versions -have a lot of health, so you are in for a long fight.
There is no guaranteed strategy for beating one of these enemies, and it will likely come down to a bit of luck. You have to stay close, so the Lynel’s insane accuracy isn’t a factor, andkeep pummeling themwhen you get the chance. You have to keep moving to avoid taking a massive amount of damage, and when you see a window open, take the opportunity to do as much damage as you can.
Remember thatdodging and Perfect Parryingwill be your best friend in these fights.
you’re able to also fall back onthePuffshroomstrategythat has taken over the community of this game. The strategy is simple: use Puffshrooms to throw at the Lynel, which will envelop them in a cloud of smoke. For some reason, this smoke willrender the Lynel useless, and they will stop attacking you, standing there in the cloud. This is the perfect chance for you to run in and get as many hits in as you can.
Once the smoke wears off,just back upandtoss another oneat the Lynel to repeat. Keep doing this until the big guy is down for the count. It may not be the fastest or most satisfying strategy, but it is pretty good for your odds of survival.
It’s important not to be greedy or over-zealous when you are fighting a Lynel; be sure to stay patient, and eventually, the Lynel will fall. And if you are lucky, they will dropa 5-Shot Lynel Bow along with it. This bow is a huge bump in damage, as it fires five shots at the same time.
