We also got to see abrand new trailerfrom Naughty Dog showing Abby’s turbulent and emotional journey throughout the game. As much as we love and support all games, let’s build some hype behindThe Last of Us Part 2in this amazingly detailed fan art piece.

Twitter userDafnaWinchester, a concept artist at Friendly Fox studio (formerly 4FriendsGames), has crafted a stunning illustration of Ellie and Joel from the emotional scene in which Joel treats Ellie to a surprise birthday gift at the museum. Even though the sketch is primarily void of color, the beautiful beam of light that hits Ellie’s space helmet as the twinkling of stars shine down from above is so incredibly striking. DafnaWinchester captures Ellie’s excitement beautifully upon receiving her present and Joel’s expression of admiration and love for Ellie is caught in such a wonderful way. Of course, with art as brilliant as this, you can be sure that it will catch the attention ofNaughty Dog’s Co-President, Neil Druckmannwho was quick toretweet itwith the caption “You did alright.”
