Have you ever wondered what might happen if the DNA of two of the most vigorous characters in the Marvel Universe came together? Although Wolverine is widely recognized for being a recluse, nomad, and man who would be better off without romance, Logan’s numerous offsprings demonstrate that his lethal abilities are too great to be limited to a single generation.

Although many X-Men fans still have a soft spot for the original films, one of the main criticisms leveled is that they seemed to focus more on the two lead actors in each series than on the actual X-Men. The earlier flicks functioned more as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, while the later ones functioned more as Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that while fans genuinely adore these two characters off-screen, the same cannot be said for their son.

Yes, we are referring to Wolverine, Jr., aka Raze Darkhölme. He is the malevolent offspring of Wolverine and Mystique, and he combines cunning and brute force in a way that is thrilling and menacing.
A Look into Raze Darkhölme’s Power: the Evil Son of Wolverine & Mystique
Wolverine is a beastdressed in human flesh, a living weapon. Despite this, he has a peculiarly high popularity among women, having had several romantic relationships over his long career in comics and flicks.

Raze Darkhölme, the son of Mystique and Wolverine, made his comic book debut in November 2013’sX-Men: Battle of the Atom #1. Created by Stuart Immonen and Brian Michael Bendis, Raze is the time-traveling mutant son of Wolverine. He possesses all of his father’s best qualities and has shape-shifting abilities that are even more potent than those of his mother. Raze is a villain who, in contrast to a few of Wolverine’s offspring, is determined to destroy the X-Men and even exact revenge on his father, Logan.
Throughout the narrative, Raze assumes the identities of several X-Men, even tricking Wolverine, before coming out as himself and using his bone claws to stab his father. The Earth-13729 reality is home to Raze, demonstrating that abilities such as Wolverine’s can corrupt anyone.

Raze, along with his half-brother Charles Xavier II, joins the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, using his powers for evil. The former turns into the mastermind of a vast scheme to exterminate all people in order to establish a mutant paradise that would house all of the vilified mutants from the multiverse. Though Wolverine and Mystique made an incredibly scary villain together, they remain beloved X-Men characters.
Inside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Journey: The Scars That Remain
Hugh Jackmanhas a lifetime of memories from his role as Wolverine, along with a few scars for good measure. The Australian actor spoke withEWin 2017 about his iconic role and his use of those iconic claws.
“I can’t tell you how many people I stabbed, how I stabbed myself. They were killing machines. I stabbed the [stunt] double for Mystique right in the arm,” he recalled of a previous X-Men film. “Of course I freaked out a little bit. It’s not every day you stab someone.”

Jackman revealed, rather unexpectedly, about those scars:
“I used to have to practice so I would not hit people [with the claws]. And one thing I neglected to practice was the follow-through. … I’ve got a number of scars on my thighs, and it’s really not cool. Got pretty close to some sensitive areas, but everything’s fine.”
Logan’sgrowing older and its effectson his abilities were the reason for the scars, director James Mangold explained in an interview withEmpire. Although his skin is no longer“baby-soft”, he canstill heal from wounds. Mangold shared:

“One of the things we all thought about as we worked on this film is, well, we don’t want to rebuild everything. We want to have some questions. In order to make a different Logan, and a different tone of a Wolverine movie, we felt like we couldn’t hold on to every tradition established in all the movies religiously, or we’d be trapped by the decisions made before us.”
Given thatLoganwas Jackman’s final appearance donning the claws, he would soon be seen playing the same role inDeadpool & Wolverine, helmed by Shawn Levy. We will also seeRyan Reynoldsreprise his roleas Wade Wilson / Deadpool.
Deadpool & Wolverineis slated for release on July 15, 2025.
