As the new episode is just around the corner, new preview images and a trailer have been released before the episode’s official release. According to the trailer, Cid and Gamma meet after a long time, and she introduces him to Nu, the thirteenth Shadow Garden. The Eminence In Shadow Episode 5 Recap
In the previous episode of The Eminence in Shadow, Zenon believes Cid is the one behind all of the attacks on the cult. While Zenon and Cid start fighting, the demon girl fights Iris after creating havoc in the city. The demon girl’s regenerative abilities make her stronger than Iris, but then, Alpha arrives and defeats the demon instantly and leaves.
On the other hand, Cid dominates Zenon, who uses everything in his power to defeat him. Zenon even consumes power-boosting pills to become stronger but still doesn’t stand a chance against Cid. To prove that he’s overly powerful, Cid uses his nuclear attack, which destroys half of the capital and also kills Zenon.
In the meantime, Alexia and Iris reunite while the latter is determined to master her sword style. Alexia decides to be Cid’s girlfriend now that Zenon is dead, and Cid likes her sword style. But surprisingly, Cid rejects her, and Alexia punishes him in anger. She then leaves to investigate a group that has been imitating Shadow Garden and committing crimes. At the end of the episode, Iris orders an investigation into Shadow Garden and the Cult of Diabolos, and Cid meets a girl with pink hair carrying books.
