Following on from the incident in the previous chapter of The Beginning After The End, fans around the world are eager to jump into Chapter 157, which is scheduled for release later this week.
Arthur has been left alone in the woods for some time now after his training with Kordri came to an end. But, he is left under certain circumstances, and Windson is always keeping a watch on him from a distance. At first, Kordri was disappointed by Arthur for not being able to catch the squirrel for weeks. But, it caught him by surprise when he used the basics of Mirage Walk to catch the squirrels later. Still, it was just the start of his training session, and soon he was tasked to catch the Clawed in the previous episode. Although Arthur manages to catch the Clawed, a giant beast seems to have appeared at the end of the previous episode, which makes fans eager to know what comes next for Arthur.

What Happened Previously on TBATE
Arthur is following a panther-like animal named Clawed and trying to catch him, who he spent three weeks trying to find. But, he isn’t able to match his speed even after trying for weeks. With time, Arthur has refined his movements, and now he can move around ten yards without ringing the bell. Still, Clawed is fast enough to get caught.
While Arthur is looking at a squirrel, a bird attacks the squirrel and takes it away. He notices that the bird calculated where the squirrel would jump, which made it easy for the bird to catch its prey. Arthur comes to the conclusion that even though Mirage Walk could conceal his mana, he has to move his muscle to take one incredibly fast step. And if he could get rid of that one step, it would feel like teleportation, and he would be able to catch the Clawed finally.
Arthur recalls his training from his previous birth and remembers how he learned about the complex muscular system. Using that knowledge, Arthur works on manipulating his mana in such a way that he can mimic the use of his muscle without actually using it. Arthur notices two Claweds fighting in the jungle. But one of the Clawed tries to run away, and Arthur is finally able to catch him. They both fall into a deep gouge, and Arthur notices a giant figure at the end of the chapter.
