Talking about the infamous tape in The Late Late Show viaRTÉ, the actor has quite an unforgettable memory attached to it.
He shared,

There was no audition; that was the final cut. I was hired and fired in the same 14 minutes. That was a very expensive 14 minutes.
He candidly revealed that he was offered an astounding $5 million to sell the tape. While he initially refrained from revealing the“good sum” he eventually disclosed the offer, adding,

“Five million for the s*x tape? You’re kidding me. Sign off, and I said absolutely not.”
Colin Farrell’s reluctance to sell his X-rated movie highlighted his firm stance on protecting his privacy. However, he had a firm reason for refusing the offer, stating that he wanted to avoid the tape from becoming readily available in hotels and other places where his family might stumble upon it.

In his filing,The Penguinstar claimed that he willingly made the tape on a verbal agreement that it was for private viewing only. A judge subsequently granted the actor a temporary restraining order to prevent the distribution of the footage.
Narain, on the other hand, argued that the agreement was never made, adding that the former had given her permission to release the tape as perToday. Apart from a restraining order, he also sought compensatory charges citing a breach of privacy and emotional distress.
She also alleged that she had the right to reproduce, market, and distribute the tape under federal copyright law. Eventually, the lawsuit was eventually settled out of court, as the duo agreed not to release the tape.
