Arnold Schwarzenegger’s fans would definitely know that bodybuilding was always something Arnie wished to do in life. But to earn a livelihood, he took on a job as a bricklayer to survive initially.

His life took a turn when his brother died in a car crash. And just a year after, his father passed away from a stroke. At that time, he missed his father’s funeral because he was training for an important competition.

The actor faced criticism for his demeanor, accent, body type, and having such a big name (which was labeled as “not suited” in the Hollywood industry). In terms of acting, he featured in action roles, which helped him become an icon of action flicks. Despite having no prior experience in politics, the Austrian native moved into a political career. And was elected to become the 38th governor of California in 2003.
