According to a Reddit user, u/m4st4008, who preorderedBlack Ops 6,can now downloadModern Warfare 3multiplayer even though the user doesn’t own the game. That said, even if the user downloads the multiplayer, it won’t run since the user doesn’t own the base game.

The user also noticed how the multiplayer would first install automatically and then need to be uninstalled manually. Hence, to reachBlack Ops 6,the user must manually sort out the games or their additional content.

Despite the negative reception from playersregarding the launcher, it seems developers are sticking with it. Many speculate the launcher is there to improve the overall engagement, reflecting on the active user metrics. Whatever the case, the launcher needs to be reworked or optimized correctly for it to be efficient.

Black Ops 6 Is Going to Be Groundbreaking

While the dedicated launcher might be an issue, the upcoming game is still a top priority for many fans. Although the game will be released in October, the beta will start in August, allowing players to try out the game and the new features involved.

Players will be able to record and share their in-game players using the feature without relying on any external app.
