Taylor Sheridan has done Hollywood a huge favor by bringing his talents to the industry. The actor/writer has managed to corner a market that the execs of Tinsel Town considered entirely lost, especially given that content that came out of the industry didn’t necessarily skewer toward the mid-western audience.

However, the writer’s biggest threat in the industry seems to be himself, given how there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to his prequels toYellowstone, so much so that fans are of the opinion that while the show has immense merit on its own, it fails to stand up to the prequels that Sheridan has penned.

Taylor Sheridan has outdone himself, fans believe

Taylor Sheridanmight be his own worst enemy, and that is in the best way possible. The actor/writer managed to win hearts all across the country with Yellowstone and then decided to top himself with 1923, a prequel to the show.

Fans have taken to the internet to talk about how great the shows are, and how they have managed to encourage them to maybe look atYellowstonein a new, albeit lesser, light.

Taylor Sheridan has created an IP that has managed to create a lot of good things for the writer, including an unparalleled career in Hollywood. There seems to be a lot of praise coming the actor/writer’s way, with a focus on just how well his shows have managed to cater to middle America, while also keeping the current audience that Hollywood had cultivated.

Taylor Sheridan has one issue in his work that has been alienating his audience

Taylor Sheridan might have managed to endear himself with the audience thanks to his writing, but some parts of his narrative just don’t seem to sit well with audiences, to the point of ridicule. There have been more thana few daddy-daughter scenesin his works that have been considered to be very creepy, to the point where fans have started to make parodies of his works based on that.

However, despite this, the fact that Sheridan has managed to revive an entire audience for Hollywood seems to have him in their good graces. With his continued success across so many series, Sheridan might be looking at some big blockbuster deals pretty soon, perhaps even in the superhero scene, with DC giving the genre a new lease on life with James Gunn’sSuperman.
