TheShaman Classis one of the most powerful magic users inTactics Ogre: Reborn, but it is locked behind many specific choices and dungeons – most notably the Elemental Shrines, which require a bit of legwork to even access.

This guide will tell you how you can complete all of these steps and clear the Shrine Dungeons, allowing you to unlock some great rewards and the Shaman Class itself.
Unlocking The Elemental Shrines
The first step you will need to accomplish is opening up the Shrines, which is covered more in-depth inanother guide. Once you have completed this step, you will be ready to take on the Dungeons themselves. The Dungeons will remainunlocked during Chapter 4, and this is the best time to beat them, as until you beat the main game, they willnot scale with Union Level, meaning they will get easier to beat as you level up while clearing them.
The Shrine Dungeons
Each of the Elemental Shrines is dedicated to a different one of Valeria’s Goddesses, and each one has adifferent set of enemies and terrainappropriate to their patron. The table below tells you what you’re able to expect from each, and it is also helpful if you are looking torecruit particular enemy units.

Defeat The Temple Guardians
The final battle in each Dungeon will pit you against aTemple Guardian; a servant of the Goddess itself. You must defeat this boss to complete the level. Most of the Guardians are eitherBeasts or Dragons, meaning by far the easiest way to beat them is to bring aDragoonwith the appropriate Beast or Dragon-slayer ability. Below is a list of which Guardian requires which.

As you may see, the Temple Guardian of Vaasa is an exception, and there is no specific Golem-killing skill in the game. However, you can bring aWarlock or Witchwith theGolemsbaneskill, which will increase other party member’s Melee Damage against it.

Elemental Shrine Loot
The Shrines will drop a selection ofspecific and random rewardson first clear. The first time you beat each Temple Guardian, it is guaranteed to drop thelowest tier Apocrypha spellof the shrine’s element. These are verypowerful area-effect spellsthat can only be used by very few classes in the game – one of them being Shaman. They will also drop one or more Crafting Recipes.
Once you havecleared all of the Templesonce, you can revisit them to get further rewards. The final battle in each dungeon will now change toVanquish All Enemies, rather than simply beating the Temple Guardian. The Guardians' treasure drops will change to potentially include certain rare items, the second tier of the Apocrypha spells, and moreOracle Classmarks, which are described below.
Unlocking The Shaman Class
Once you have beaten the sixth boss, you will see a slightly different message on victory indicating that you have received thepower of an Oracle. You will then be rewarded with 3Oracle’s Marks. These are theShaman Classmarksand allow you to switch characters to Shaman.Onlythe following characters can use this class:
The only way to get more Shaman Classmarks is torepeat individual Shrine dungeons, so be careful when you use them and who you use them on.
