TheJurassic Leaguecomics is a six-issue limited series edition that was first released in May 2022. Jurassic League

“In this particular Jurassic world, Superman is a Brachiosaurus, Batman is an Allosaurus, and Wonder Woman is a Triceratops, while the Joker is a Dilophosaurus modeled, in part, after Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the character in The Dark Knight”.

Apart fromJurassic League, Warner Brothers and DC will produce another popular animated seriesCreature Commandoswhich is a highly anticipated venture that DC fans are excited about. With the untitled film starring Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway also part of Warner Brothers’ extended plan, the production giant seems to be going for a combination of massive star power and artistic vision through both these projects.

“I have a problem talking about DC characters”: Robert Downey Jr. May Have A Bone to Pick With James Gunn’s DCU

Meanwhile, Universal’sJurassic World 4is being viewed as a cash-grabbing attempt to rule the box office by working within a limited time frame and budget constraints to ensure maximum profits. This theory seems to hold more water now with ‘shooter’ Gareth Edwards helming the project. At present, all roads seem to be pointing to DC and Warner Brothers coming out on top in this monster race.

Is DC’s Batman More Relevant Than Superman?

Choosing a favorite between two DC icons like Batman and Superman would seem like an impossible task for fans across the world. Without dispute, the two superheroes have inspired generations of DC aficionados to believe in their supreme powers despite having diversely different legacies. With James Gunn’s magnum opusSuperman: Legacydue to hit screens in 2025, there have been a lot of intense discussions about the history of the characters and their impact on a modern-day world.

In a recent brainstorming session atThe Sci Fi Center(viaX), film critics took a deep dive into the impact of Batman and Superman and their relatability to viewers of today. Speaking of the Caped Crusader as a mirror to modern-day problems, one critic presented an apt analogy that magnified this thought.

Batman and Superman

“Superman is what we aspire to be for a certain amount of time. Batman is the reality of the cynicism that we are. All you got to do is look around you, and you see more Batman around you. The world is different now. We relate and we cling on to things”

The critic also went on to add that these  aforementioned reasons made a Batman film hit the gut harder than a Superman film despite both superheroes holding prideful places in the DC franchise.
