The secret boss, as mentioned above, is Culex. He is what is known as a Dark Knight, and he comes from the dimension known as Vanda. Originally, he was the hardest boss in the game. However, with the remake, Culex takes on an even more difficult role in the game. While the original Culex is available in the game, there is a revamped version of him that is a 3D version only available after you have beaten the game.
How To Find Culex
Finding Culex is a pretty tedious thing, but it is something that is certainly worth it. The first thing you need to know is that Culex is a Final Fantasy-inspired boss, and therefore, is pretty tough. You are going to need to prepare for a tough battle. You will want to ensure you havea tough partyand you have somegreat items.
You will want to head to Moleville andpurchase the Fireworksfor sale there. Once you have done that, exit the building and head to the boxes shown in the picture above. There is a little girl there who will trade you a Shiny Stone for the Fireworks. After doing that, you will need to head to Monstro Town and insert that Shiny Stone into the dark door that is locked in the town. Once you get inside, you will be able to teleport to Culex.
