How To Beat Boshi
Progress through the story until youunlock Yo’ster Isle. You will find a red Yoshi next to a hut at theend of the racetrack, speak with this red Yoshi to receive 3 Yoshi Cookies. Head to the opposite side of the racetrack to see ablue Yoshi with shades— this is Boshi. Challenge him to a race, and you will see the B and A buttonsflashing on the bottom right of the screen. Do not just button mash, as there is a trick to it. Press theB buttonwhen it lights upand then press theAbutton when it lights up. They will alternate at the same consistent speed, so it is all about matching the rhythm that they highlight.
How To Farm Yoshi Cookies
Once you have beaten Boshi, you can nowchoose to betwithout needing to actually be a part of the race. Head to the exit near the end of the racetrack andsave your game first, as you will not want to lose all of your cookies, and can justreload if things go south. Once you have made a save, speak with Boshi and choose towatch the race. He will then ask how many cookies you want to wager — bet themaximum amount each time. The red Yoshiwilleat any cookies over 200, so go use the cookies you have and come back when you have just over 10 left — since10 is the maximum number you can betfor each race.
