Starfield’s elusive planets and systems continue to wow players, as one lucky explorer has come across a hidden Space Station filled with contraband, enemies, lore, and legendary loot.
While Starfield does have well over 1,000 planets in-game, not every single one of them is explorable, according to our sister site, TheGamer. But there are still hundreds of different planets for players to land on, with a total of 82 unique POIs and 150 different POI designs, according to a Reddit userwho did the math.

Starfield Players Think Bethesda Is “Wasting Time” On Undeserved New Features
Starfield’s next update arrives on March 6, but players think some of the new features are undeserved.
Players will always be debating whether or not Starfield has enough unique points of interest, but you’ll still find plenty of players putting hundreds of hours into the game and discovering new and wonderful locations. This time, Reddit userConstellation_XIhas taken to the Starfield subreddit to share their unique discovery.

Starfield Player Finds Mysterious Space Station
After 800 hours of playtime, this Reddit user discovered a Space Station floating around the orbit of Bessel I, which can be found within the Bessel System. According to the user, the Space Station has a plethora of contraband, enemies, legendary loot, and lore. They also pointed out that the station wasn’t labeled on the map, and that they “just saw a random marker 25,000mi away that said ‘unknown location’.”
Not only is the Sonder Space Station not labeled on the game’s map, but it’s also supposedly not part of any in-game quest line. But that does appear to be up for debate amongst the community. While the original poster says it “100% has no quest tied to it,“another usersays they are “pretty sure there was a quest that led [them] there.” The user did not mention which questline led them to the location though, and I’m inclined to believe the player with 800 hours of playtime.

Reddit userSilveryDeathgave some further background on the location, saying, “From Googling it there does not seem to be any quest at all tied to the Sonder Space Station. All I can see about it is that the station does have three audio logs you’re able to find that give you background info regarding what happened on the station and it is where you get the Vanguard Space Tactics 05 skill magazine.”
While some users continued to debate on whether or not this mysterious Space Station was tied to a questline, others praised the user, calling it an exciting discovery.
