Nvidia Publishes STALKER 2 Benchmarks With DLSS 3
STALKER 2 will have Nvidia Reflex and DLSS 3 on day one.
Right from the off, you are thrown into a series of scenarios where you’re up against it, and right after you finish the prologue, you’ll have the option to take on a mission that will set you up for future encounters quite nicely.
Dangerous Visitors is one of the first side quests you will have access to, and it sees you head just up the road to Rescue Gloomy, who has been captured.
It’s not the easiest of introductions, but with our help, you should be able to get your hands on a Detonator and some much-needed supplies before you reach Zalissya.
How To Start The Quest
To begin this quest, you will need to head up the road from where you woke up after navigating the Anomaly field.
Just up the road, you will find a house where several undesirables have trapped someone inside and are peppering the house with bullets. You could always sneak on past, but if you want to become comfortable with combat in STALKER 2, that’s a bad move.
What you need to do is take out the enemies near the front door. It’s best to find some cover and take shots from mid-range, or failing that, you’re able to sneak to the side of the house and take pop shots from around the corner.
Once you kill all the enemies, head inside and talk to Zhorik, who will give you the quest and ask you to rescue Gloomy.
How to Rescue Gloomy
Gloomy can be found at the Boiler House, which is just a little further up the road from the house where you find Zhorik.
Just to ensure you have as much ammo and health packs as possible before heading up there, be sure to check the safe around the back of the house. Plus, loot the bodies of the fallen enemies for the option of a rifle when infiltrating the Boiler Room.
In case you don’t know by this point, you’re able to unload guns of fallen enemies you get extra ammo, and you don’t even have to pick them up. Give it a try!
Once you come to the Boiler Room, you have a few options, but I personally found that the best option was to skirt around the left-hand side of the building and enter via the break in the wall closest to the cave behind the building.
This allows you to pick them off from inside the building and gives you a little trench to take cover in when needed.

It would not be a Call of Duty release if the multiplayer side of things did not descend into chaos.
A second viable option is to sneak to the side of the building and climb the ladder to the roof. Then, you’re able to pick off any enemies outdoors before peering through the skylight and taking out any remaining enemies indoors.
The key to survival here is a slow, methodical plan with a good amount of cover. But provided you don’t stand out in the open and invite them to pepper you with bullets, you should be able to walk away safe and sound.
Rewards For Completing Dangerous Visitors
When you have killed all the enemies, you can head inside and talk to Gloomy on the second floor.
He’ll reward the player with a Detector, which makes getting through the cave ahead a lot easier.
The cave ahead has an Acid Anomaly that you can uncover, so be sure to equip your Detector when passing through.
Alongside this, you will be able to claim Zhorik’s supply cache, which has some useful survival essentials that will make the early stages of the game a little easier.
This stash is found on the second floor near the shelves with food and ammo. It’s not much, but it should be enough to get you to Zalyssia in one piece.
