Step one is to gain access to the Moon Market itself.
Your first path is obvious.Head towards the giant castle in the distancethat’s highlighted by a beautiful crescent moon.

Once at the end of the path, a ghostly rowboat will appear. Hop in and soak up the scenic views as you’re transported across to your destination.
Upon arrival, you’ll meet a yellow ghost cat in the middle of the alley. Interact with it, and it will follow you.

Lead your new pet to the giant golden cat gate in front of you. It will disappear into the lock on the gate and allow you to enter the bustling Moon Market.
Right when you walk into the central hub area of this side story, you’ll watch a brief cutscene where three more ghost cats of different colors run off through different passageways on the outskirts of the market.

The pink cat runs to the west, the green to the northeast, and the blue to the southeast.
Your goal in this quest is to track all three cats downand deposit their spirits into the cat gate on the north side of the Moon Market.
Let’s circle back to that, though. First, let’s see what the Moon Market has to offer.
Moon Market Side Activities And Trophies
The Moon Market itself is chock-full of hilarious and wholesome interactions.
The possibilities aren’tendless, but they are incredible nonetheless.
Trophy - Chair The Load
Toearn your first trophy in the Moon Market, one character needs to go pick up a magic wandfrom the bookstore down the western alley.
Bring the wand back to your partner, and you’ll be able to transform them into various objects.
When youturn your friend into a chair, stop right there. Take a seat on your buddy, and you’ll get the Chair The Load trophy.
Trophy - Potion Chef
Fortrophy number two, one player needs to visit the potion shoplocated just east of the fountain in the middle of the market.
Here, you’ll notice various ingredients waiting to be thrown into a witch’s cauldron.
Two ingredients are required per potion, so mix a couple together, drink your brew, and see what happens.

Cat Hunting
Once you’ve had your fill of goofing off around the market, it’s back to business.
Each of the three cats that ran off upon your entry needs to be rescued and returned to the gate to the north.
The order you collect the cats is entirely up to you, so take your pick.
The Pink Cat
The pink cat ran off to the west, so follow its paw prints, and you’ll spot a Tim Burton-style mansion in the distance.
In the complete opposite direction of the red mansion is a tiny shack.
At the shack, Mio and Zoe must each light a lantern, and the door to the hut will pop open.
The pink cat is hanging out inside but will immediately run away and hightail it to the giant, red mansion you saw before.
It’s here that the creepy mansion will reveal its true form and turn into a living house covered in eyeballs and supported by chicken legs.
Grapple onto one of the moles that are now flying around on magic brooms, and you’ll be dropped off at the lower level of the house.
Follow the cat up the house until you reach two more lanterns to light.
A ladder will now drop for you to climb, so keep making your way to the top of the mansion. You’ll need to hop across some floating lanterns and climb more ladders on the way.
You’ll find the pink cat hiding in a treasure chest at the very top of the red house. Open the chest, and the cat will follow you.
Two floating books will now spawn right behind the treasure chest.
With a button prompt, hitch a ride back to the Moon Market.
Lead the pink cat to the locked gate at the north end of the market, and it will float into its corresponding lock on the door.
With the pink eyes now glowing on the first cat lock, you’re done with this phase.
The Blue Cat
The blue cat ran through a doorway to the southeast of the Moon Market hub, so head that way next.
Inside the two carved pumpkins are a couple of lanterns that Mio and Zoe can both pick up— one yellow and one blue.
Behind the pumpkins, you’ll notice floating, ghostly coffins beginning to appear. Some of these are blue, others yellow.
Whenever the character holding the corresponding lantern of the same color gets close enough, these coffins will appear.
If Mio and Zoe simply stick together and leap to each coffin at the same time, they’ll have no trouble at all getting to solid ground on the other side.
Your path now leads to a giant sleeping cat.
Before moving ahead to the giant cat, go to the right to find one more path of invisible coffins to jump across. No spoilers for what you’ll find, but it’s an Easter Egg that any fan of FromSoftware games needs to see.
This massive slumbering kitty is guarding the blue ghost cat that you need to retrieve.Mio should head to the right of the platform to find a harp she can begin playing.
This will start a mini-game where Mio has to strum the harp to the rhythm of the button prompts that are now appearing on her screen. Successfully playing the harp will keep the giant cat asleep.
10 Best Co-Op Platformers
Gaming is always better with a friend.
Zoe’s lantern will start to illuminate blue flowers across the chasm in front of the giant cat. Jump across to the other side and interact with the blue cat for it to follow you.
With the blue cat now in tow, work your way back across the floating coffins and head back to the Moon Market.
Deposit the blue spirit cat into the giant locked gate.
Two down, one to go.
The Green Cat
The green cat is all that remains. Follow its path to the northeast of the Moon Market, and you’ll find it sitting in a patch of grass in front of a Hobbit Hole-type front door.
The cat will immediately scatter, entering a tiny door ahead that you’re able to’t squeeze through yourself.
Take note that there is now an illuminated cat symbol in front of you on the door.
There are two witch hats on the ground that Mio and Zoe each need to don. These allow both players to grow flowers instantaneously from the soil. One player can grow blue flowers while the other can grow yellow.
Following the exact pattern on the Hobbit door, Zoe and Mio need to trace the outline of the cat in the grass while ensuring the same colors on the symbol correspond with the flowers being grown on the outline in the grass.
Once the pattern is complete, the door will open. Head on inside.
Directly ahead, you’ll see the green cat trapped under a giant, sentient mushroom creature. One player can prop the mushroom up while the other retrieves your final cat.
For the artistically inclined, take a look on the west side of this mushroom grotto, and you’ll notice a collection of additional flower-growing witch hats. Each of these hats grows flowers of a different color.
There’s a giant, empty patch of dirt on these flower hats as well, so feel free to get creative and make some more flower art entirely of your choosing.
This is optional and isn’t linked to any sort of trophy or achievement, so it’s up to you if you want to partake in this activity or not.
The Hobbit-like door you entered from unfortunately locked behind you, so you’ll have to find another path back to the Moon Market to deposit your final cat spirit.
Look for a doorway just to the left of the Hobbit door, andyou’ll notice a collection of bubbles now floating in the air.
These bubbles lead all the way back to the Moon Market.
Leaping from bubble to bubble, both players can make their way back to civilization.
One final time, walk to the north gate, and the green cat spirit will pass into the final cat-shaped lock.
The Pillow Fort Ending
Open the gate and continue north. You’ll find a giant courtyard outside the castle filled with golden statues.
Head up the stairs behind the statue in the very back, and you’ll thankfully be able to open one final door without any more trouble.
After a final, particularly touching cutscene inside a pillow fort, Mio and Zoe are once again thrown back into theFinal Dawn main story chapter, and the Moon Market side story is complete.
Mischief managed.
