After a barrage of bad news,Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Versefinally has some good news for the fans. In a recent interview, Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson disclosed that they will be directing the much anticipated final sequel ofSpider-Man’sSpider-Verseseries.

The two have been working as part of the creative team since the series began with the release ofSpider-Man: Into The Spider-Verseback in 2018. According to them, they are bringing their best game to the final send-off of the Oscar-winning franchise. Redundant to say that the fans are beyond excited at the prospect of being able to witness the potential masterpiece soon.

In a recent interview withDeadline, Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson divulged that they have taken the helm of the concluding movie in theSpider-Versesaga. Bob Persichetti was a member of the directorial team for the 2018Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. He returned as an executive producer for the sequelSpider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse.

Thompson was a production designer for the first movie, and was essential in developing the genre-bending animation style that became the signature of the franchise. He joined the directorial team for the second movie along with Kemp Powers, and Joaquim Dos Santos.
