It seems like Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds might be combining more worlds than we were expecting. All this news is alleged, coming from a supposed insider on X, whose account has since been deleted.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds won’t just becrossing between worlds in its races, but it will cross over with other franchises, includingSpongeBob SquarePants,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,Avatar: The Last Airbender, andMinecraft, withHatsune Mikuseemingly coming later.

Magic: the Gathering’s SpongeBob SquarePants Secret Lair Goes All In on the Memes
The controversial SpongeBob Secret Lair for Magic: the Gathering embraces the popular internet memes for new art on iconic carts.
The SpongeBob news even came with footage, seemingly from an older build for the original Switch, but unfortunately, it was lost when the leaker’s profile was deleted.

Other details also seem to come from an older presentation from when the game was called Sonic Racing: Gate Traveller.
Crossover Tracks, Vehicles, And More?
The insider also claimed the game will includeSplatfest-style eventsknown as “Festivals,” so far shown to be related to the SpongeBob content.
Players will be able to join teams (in this case, Team SpongeBob, Team Patrick, and Team Squidward), gain points for their team, and at the end, one team will be declared the winner. There will also be cosmetic rewards for festivals, including the usual multiplayer game assortment of car decals, title plates, and car horn effects.

The only playable characters the leaker revealed were SpongeBob himself and Patrick, who are seemingly going to be paid post-launch DLC, which makes sense considering we already know thefull 22-character base roster.
The leaker also showed off concept art for vehicles based on TMNT and Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, as well as Aang’s Extreme Gear.

It seems like these non-gaming crossovers are possible thanks to Sega’s Paramount connections fromthe Sonic movie series, since Paramount also owns Nickelodeon.
It should be reiterated that a lot of this information seems to be a few months old, and plans may have changed, especially considering all these crossover elements are seemingly going to be post-launch DLC. And, of course, like all leaks, they should be taken with a grain of salt, no matter how much evidence they have to back them up.
