Despite critical acclaim, this was not enough to capture the attention of the broader gaming community, and the game is considered a sales failure—or at least it did not meet the expectations of investors and the studio.

The development team is now actively working on theMax Payneremake. However, this is not the only project that is quite advanced in its development; according to reports, theControlsequel is already in a playable state.
