Season 2 ofSea of Thievesis finally here, and there’s a brand new Fort of Fortune to be discovered and conquered. We’ve put together everything we know about the new Fort of Fortune, including how you can find it and what rewards you can get from it.

Season 2 ofSea of Thievesbegan on April 15, and not only is there a brand new Plunder Pass for players to level up and unlock new rewards, there’s also new game events and gameplay improvements.

Fort of Fortune -Sea of ThievesSeason 2
The Fort of Fortune is a rare fort that appears randomly on the server you play on. You may notice a glowing red event skull in the sky, which means that an existing Fort has now become a Fort of Fortune.
When the Fort of Fortune spawns, a loud horn can be heard across the whole map, alerting you of its presence.
The vault inside the Fort of Fortune contains multiple Athena items, as well as regular fort chests.
The Fort of Fortune works the same as other Forts inSea of Thieves, but this time the difficulty is much higher. To complete the challenging Fort, you will need to defeat waves of skeletons before taking on the three Skeleton Lords.
The Skeleton Lords are Mutants Houndsmen, Two-Faced Scoundrel, and The Duchess. Upon defeating the three Skeleton Lords, the final Ashen Lord boss will spawn for you to defeat.
Defeat the final Ashen Lord and it will drop an Ashen Skull and Key for you to claim your rewards.
Be warned, the Fort of Fortune is incredibly rare and flocks of players will be swarming to it once it spawns. Good luck!
