One of the latest titles based on Akira Toriyama’s work wasSAND LAND, developed by ILCA and distributed by Bandai Namco. In a recent interview with FandomWire, the producer of the game, Keishu Minami, talked about how honored he was to work on a project based on a manga by Toriyama.

In the game, the main focus is desert and vehicular warfare and combat, but at some point, in the title, this changes. Minami discussed these changes and was eager for the fans to see the differences once the map completely changed after the first half of the game.

SAND LAND‘s main goal is to enjoy this amazing open world, whereas Beelzebub, the game’s protagonist, is trying to find the Legendary Spring in order to save the people on this map. Bandai Namco has adapted the Akira Toriyama manga into a vehicular adventure that will make every player discover new ways to improve these vehicles and find new ones that are even more powerful. Once the first half of the game passes, the whole map changes.

In terms of visuals, there are lush green land and a large lake. Since the environment is different, the monsters that appear are also different.

OnceSAND LANDchanges to a new map, there will be new materials to discover that will help make new vehicles better equipped for the upcoming battles. The dynamics have a larger scale.

The title was launched on April 25 for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Beelzebub, Thief, and Rao will be working together to find the Legendary Spring and save the people of this land. In their journey ahead, they will encounter all sorts of people who will help them fight against a king who doesn’t care at all for his people. While controlling the best battle vehicles, they will attempt to free the people from this corrupt government and army.
