In the movie, the TVA’s Mr. Paradox introduced the concept of anchor beings which served as the purpose ofHugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine. The term is used to denote a group of select individuals that are vital to holding and keeping together the existence of their reality. Wolverine, in here, was the anchor being.
Now, if the report holds true, then Marvel Studios was planning to do the same – summon powerful anchor beings from different worlds and have them go toe-to-toe against Kang. Hence, Mr. Paradox would play a bigger role in the MCU.
