Robert Downey Jr.has had a great start to 2024, having won the Golden Globes award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture. The honor came for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss inOppenheimer.
Having spent nearly a decade as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s most popular superhero, Iron Man, Downey Jr. jumped to the other side and showed his prowess as the main antagonist inOppenheimer.Playing the US businessman and naval officer, who clashed with J. Robert Oppenheimer in the early 50s, the 58-year-old delivered a career-best performance.
With the Oscars next on the target, Downey Jr. is expected to continue making headlines for his acting prowess for the foreseeable future. However, now he has also started attracting attention fromTaylor Swiftfans for his reading talents. Yes, reading and not signing.
TheChaplinstar delivered the rendition of the singer’s hit song,Blank Space,during a sit down with W Magazine. Interestingly, instead of signing, he read the hit song as if it were a poem. That’s one way to win over the Swifties.

What Jo Koy Said About His Taylor Swift Joke
Swift, who dominated the box office in October of last year with her concert film,The Eras Tour, didn’t win any awards last weekend but she still managed to grab headlines with her cold reaction to Jo Koy’s joke.
The stand-up comedian cracked a joke about the 12-time Grammys winner’s frequent appearances at the NFL. When the camera turned to Swift, she could be seen glaring at Koy while sipping her champagne.
Speaking to the LA Times (viaBillboard), Koy explained there was no ill intent in his joke, which was intended to mock the NFL rather than Swift. Regardless, that hasn’t stopped theAnti-Herosinger’s fans from trolling Koy on social media.
