The release of PlayStation’s newest exclusive titleRise of the Roninis just right around the corner, the setting and combat heavily resemble that of fellow PlayStation title:Ghost of Tsushimahas fans of the franchise covered until new content or a sequel.

Rise of the Ronin will have similar gameplay elements to Ghost of Tsushima, but made it even better.

Both games are set in Japan which will lead to similar environments and builds of infrastructure and even animations but the developer, Team Ninja didn’t take any chances and bumped their game to avoid any unwanted, yet inevitable comparisons.

Rise of the Ronin Took Notes From Ghost of Tsushima

The loadout of Jin Sakai is pretty extensive for a former samurai now turned to a ninja-like ghost, wielding his katana and tanto from his samurai days and was later accustomed to ranged weapons like the half bow, long bow, and throwables like smoke bombs, sticky bombs, and kunai. It wasn’t enough for him to stray away from the samurai’s path until he used a blow dart that shoots poisonous projectiles and hallucinogens. The player’s ronin will have a variety of weapons to choose from.

Sucker Punch Productions did an impressive job creating such a vibrant and colorful world, Tsushima was beautiful, even after being ravaged by war and an invasion from foreign soil, players spent countless hours in photo mode on their PS4, PS5, and maybe, soon on PC. The gameplay was stellar by featuring different attacks depending on stances and how enemies will react making it far more immersive. Team Ninja, however, given their previous experiences withNiohhas taken it up a notch.
