Remnant 2has no shortage of weird and wonderful weapons, but you may have noticed a distinct lack of armor sets. While you can find an armor trader in Ward 13, he only sells starter sets. At best, you can buy a set designed for a different Archetype, but it’s not going to be that much better than your default armor. Don’t worry, though, because Remnant 2 does offer a bunch of unique armor sets. You just need to know where to look for them, that’s all.

Some of the game’s unique armor sets can be found while exploring the world and are usually locked behind some sort of puzzle. Other sets can be crafted at special crafting stations available only on certain planets. The Knotted Set is part of the latter category.
How To Craft The Knotted Set
The Knotted Set is a heavy armor set that provides resistance against Blight and Corrosion. The set consists of four pieces, all of which can be crafted at a Bloodmoon Altar. These crafting tables can be a bit difficult to find becausethey only spawn on Yaeshaand there’s only one of them per world. Among other things, you can also use a Bloodmoon Altar tounlock the Summoner Archetype, so it’s definitely worth visiting even if you’re not particularly interested in the armor.
Now, if youdo wantto get your hands on the Knotted Set, you’ll first need to collect a few materials. Most notably, the Knotted Set requires Blood Moon Essence, a special crafting material that drops from Root Wisps. These creatures only spawn in the woods of Yaesha during a Blood Moon. If you find yourself on the planet and don’t see a Blood Moon in the sky, teleport elsewhere and check back later. Locating Root Wisps can be a bit of a hassle, but the good news is that they have a 100% chance to drop Blood Moon Essence upon death.

All in all, you’re going to need 25 pieces of Blood Moon Essenceto craft the entire set, along with around2,000 Scrap. Of course, you could just craft individual pieces of armor instead. Every other item you can craft at the Bloodmoon Altar requires the very same Essence, so don’t hesitate to kill Root Wisps whenever you come across them.
