The new event will double the current RDO and XP rewards in various endeavors of the roles. For example, those who roam the wild west as a Moonshiner or a Trader will get double rewards in all of their successful sales until January 30. Moreover, players whose characters are Collectors and Naturalists will get triple helping of RDO and XP than they would normally get in Free Roam Events. Similar to sale rewards, the incentives in this event will run through until the end of the month, offering a solid bonus on Salvage, Legendary Animal Tagging, Condor Egg and Protect Legendary Animal.

In addition to the role bonuses, Red Dead Online will be offering double rewards on Il Sovrano Blood Money Opportunity, a robbery mission that came with Bloody Money, which was the last major update for Red Dead Online. Those who are able to get the precious diamond will also get their hands on 2x RDO, Gold, and XP. The Il Sovrano mission is not the only one offering ample rewards, though. In celebration of the new year, clearing out Gang Hideouts across Red Dead Online’s map will grant 4x XP as well.

According to theofficial post on Rockstar’s website, the month-long incentives will start on January 3 and will run until the month’s end. Those who log in to the game will get 25 Capitale alongside Weight Gain and Weight Loss Tonics. Moreover, completing any Clearing House Crime will add the Inglett Scarf to players' inventory.

But if mere cosmetics are not enough for you, do look at the hefty rewards for completing a Legendary Bounty this month, because it offers a Gold Bar and a Civil War Battlefield Treasure Map. Do keep in mind that the rewards are for completing a single Legendary Bounty.

While Rockstar has introduced a series of minor updates for Red Dead Online in the past, it has been a year and a half since the last proper content update. Last year, Red Dead Online playersheld an in-game funeralfor the stagnant journey of the title, which, according to die-hard fans of the western epic, is not getting the care and attention it deserves from the developer.
