How far would you go to save your family? If you ask the Tran brothers, they’ll tell you they’d go to the ends of the Earth. This mission plays out in one of the smallest maps inReady or Not, in a peaceful-looking suburb that you would not typically associate witharms trafficking.
While this isa fairly typical firearms violation raid, they’re sending in the LSPD instead of the ATF, which meansyou’re up.
Ready Or Not: Ends of the Earth Tips
The Tran residence in Kawayu Beach has two floors, an attic, and more doors than any one family could ever need. The beach entry feeds into side four, while the street one gets you into side three of the property.
The home’s exterior is broken up into small sections by wooden doors.Up to two suspects or civilians can spawn outside, so keep your guard up from the moment you arrive. A single suspect can also take shelter in the shed.
My preferred approach to raiding the house is sweeping the outside area first, jamming the (excessive number of) doors as the team moves up, then making entry into the ground floor. Take care to close the door leading into the second-floor bedroom on side two to avoid unpleasantness later.
The key area inside the house is the central stairwell, which allows suspects to travel between floors and, in some cases, fire across them too. Secure floors quickly and push up to the next level to avoid being pinned down. Entering the attic requires approaching from the stairs with no cover, so having a shield go first helps.
Expect four to six armed suspects with no body armor and two civilians. Some rooms in the house, like the garage or the attic, have cracks large enough for suspects to squeeze or shoot through.
Ready Or Not: Ends of the Earth Objective Locations
Ends of the Earth has four mission objectives. Besides the standard Bring Order to Chaos and Rescue All of the Civilians,you are required to find the Tran brothers' weapons manufacturing equipment, plus a bag with dirty moneyas a soft objective.
Report Bag of Money
The soft objective for this mission is located on the second floor, in a bedroom in the northeastern corner of the house.
Get to the second floor through the stairwell or the balcony entrance. Facing down the stairs, hit up the bedroom on your far left. The bag of money is sitting on the couch in a dimly lit room. Report it to complete the objective.
Locate Weapon Manufactory
The main objective is in the attic, and requires caution when approaching it to avoid casualties.
Once you secure the second floor, set up on the stairs leading to the attic and prepare to breach in. The door is typically closed and unlocked, but armed suspects can burst out and give you the Pulp Fiction treatment.
There’s nowhere to hide here, so act quickly to move in and dominate the room before they get a chance to react.
